Setu Learning

Overview

During my final year of Diploma in Computer Engineering, I was approached by Mr. Ajay Palkar from Setu Institute, Pune to build a custom Learning Management System (LMS) for their students pursuing courses in automotive and engineering fields.

The goal was to create an intuitive platform where students could enroll in courses, make payments, and learn online through video lectures, quizzes, assignments, and certifications.

My Contribution

I built the platform using WordPress, leveraging Elementor and various LMS-specific plugins to bring the institute’s vision to life.

1. Designed a fully responsive LMS website with student and teacher login areas

2. Integrated a secure payment gateway for online course purchases

3. Enabled course content uploads, video lectures, assignments, and quizzes

4. Implemented certificate generation and performance tracking

5. Managed domain purchase and hosting via Hostinger

Outcome & Learnings

This project helped the Setu Institute expand its reach by bringing their courses online for the first time. It also gave me hands-on experience in creating a full-featured e-learning platform, managing real client requirements, and delivering a robust system within academic constraints.
